We have our blog, but we also want to do our part to not only raise awareness about wildlife and loss of habitat issues, but also, to provide information on the different types of programs being implemented by some of our national parks. For example, Banff National Park's bear program teaches people about everything from what bears eat to how to respond if you have an unexpected bear encounter.
Conservation is critical
Many of Canada's wildlife species are facing extinction, seriously endangered, or already extinct. We feel very strongly about doing our part to help slow the rate at which this is happening, and we want to pass that enthusiasm and desire to you. Conservation of what remains of our wild spaces is critical not only to the survival of our wildlife, but also, to our own survival. Enjoy your visit!
